Meet this month’s presenters
Rick Dunham is a 35-year veteran of direct response marketing and fundraising for nonprofits. In 2002, Rick founded Dunham+Company to help ministry organizations design and execute more effective fundraising strategies that would close the funding gap that typically exists between the vision they have and the impact they are able to make because of limitations on funding. All of which would lead to long-term effectiveness.
Rick holds a BA from Biola University and a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is an active member of the National Religious Broadcasters and the Direct Marketing Association, where he serves annually as a final round judge for the international ECHO Awards. He is actively involved in the DMA Charitable Giving Coalition, serves on the board of The Giving Institute and is a member of the Editorial Review Board for Giving USA.
Rick is the author of Secure: Discovering True Financial Freedom and If God Will Provide, Why Do We Have to Ask for Money? He has also been published and quoted in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, USA Today, Dallas Morning News,Philadelphia Inquirer, Washington Post and Townhall.com. Rick has served as a commentator on Fox Business News as well as participated as a frequent guest on numerous regional and national radio programs.
Una O. Osili, Ph.D., is Director of Research at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, a leading academic institution dedicated to increasing the understanding of philanthropy and improving its practice worldwide. An internationally recognized expert on philanthropy, Dr. Osili frequently speaks across the country on issues related to national and international trends in philanthropy and has been quoted by national news media outlets such as The New York Times, the Chronicle on Philanthropy and Nonprofit Times.
In addition to her appointment at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Dr. Osili serves as Associate Professor of Economics and Philanthropic Studies at Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis. She is also a member of the graduate school faculty at Indiana University. She is a consultant with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and has worked for the World Bank and also serves on the Research Committee of the Association for Research in Nonprofit and Voluntary Organizations (ARNOVA) and the Board of the African Finance and Economics Association (AFEA).
