Key Highlights

Yesterday was the final day of the 2015 Outcomes conference, and it was a powerful close to an incredible week of empowering and equipping Christian leaders for God’s work. This year’s conference flew by, but we know the lessons, relationships and impact will stay with us for the weeks, months and years to come.  Some of yesterday highlight’s included:

  • We continued with educational opportunities in the area of finance, legal, HR, marketing, technology, management and much more. Attendees had the opportunity to sit in on a wide selection of workshops from industry leaders sharing their knowledge and expertise.
  • In our morning session, Joni Eareckson Tada gave an inspirational and beautiful talk about God using us in our weakness. She talked about her heart for the one billion disabled people around the world and learning to trust the Lord, be humble and allow Him to use her to bring hope and His love to the world. She reminded us that he chooses to call leaders who are ungifted, untrained and broken, so that all the glory goes to Him. It was a powerful call to humbly surrender and remember why we’re here.
  • We had some special events for the men and the ladies today. The men enjoyed breakfast with Dr. Doug Nuenke, president of The Navigators, and the ladies had lunch with Jenni Catron, author of Clout. Following the women’s luncheon, Propel Women hosted a special forum for women in leadership, with insight from Christine Caine and a panel of other women, encouraging women to reach their God-given potential as they reach others.
  • Finally, Christine Caine gave a powerful and encouraging closing message, encouraging leaders to remember the power of God and His promises. He is not tired, He is not intimated by risks or obstacles, and He will fulfill His promises. We need to be the type of leaders who aren’t afraid to look foolish or take risks, who believe He can do what He says He’ll do and who are willing to be used by Him to do big things!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Outcomes 2015, here in Dallas and remotely around the world. It’s our honor and privilege to worship and partner with so many amazing Christian leaders, forging ahead in Kingdom work. We hope this week was educational, empowering and encouraging. Remember that we are called for such a time as this, that God equips those He calls, and that we can go farther together.

We would love to hear what you thought of this year’s conference! We already can’t wait until next year; stay tuned for more information about the 2016 conference! We hope to see you there.
