Doug Wicks currently serves as Manager of Strategic Projects and Foundations for The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Colorado Springs, Colorado. For the past 10 years he has been primarily involved in the areas of resource development and donor relations. In his multifaceted role, he travels overseas twice a year to visit and assess project sites to report back to donors. Prior to his current role, Doug has worked as editorial director for a Christian publishing house in Pennsylvania (five years) and served on the editorial staff of a Christian magazine for 12 years. He and his wife and children lived and worked in Russia (1997-2001) to establish a publications office for a group of 50 young Russian evangelical churches. Doug has earned a BA in English Lit/Education from Gordon College (Mass.) and an MA in communications from Wheaton (Ill.) Grad School. He and his wife, Joan, have two adult children (both married) and six grandchildren.
