Ramona Bishop

Ramona Bishop brings over 25 years of comprehensive human resources expertise as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). With notable positions at SunTrust Banks in Florida and regional banks in Atlanta, Ramona has honed her HR acumen to optimize organizational performance and empower individuals to reach their full potential.

Her journey with Bible Study Fellowship began in 1993, marking a transformative period in her spiritual and personal growth. Ramona’s devotion to BSF’s mission has been unwavering, from her initial attendance as a young mother to assuming leadership roles as Group Leader, Substitute Teaching Leader, and eventually a teaching leader for 13 years.

In January 2016, Ramona embraced the opportunity to relocate her family to San Antonio, answering the call to serve as BSF’s HR Manager. Her decision underscores her deep-rooted commitment to advancing the organization’s mission and fostering a culture of growth and development for the staff of BSF.

Ramona has a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Texas A&M-Commerce. She holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute. She and her husband, Rick, have been married for nearly 45 years and have two adult children.

Ramona’s multifaceted experiences and unwavering dedication to organizational excellence have made her a respected human resources leader. Ramona will be our Community Launch Catalyst for the People Management and Care Community Hub.
