Kent Herr

Kent graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, minoring in Economics. While in college, he was introduced to Jesus Christ through the ministry of Cru, and God began to transform his life radically. In 1995, he joined the Cru staff, working in Finance for over 29 years.

 

Currently, Kent serves as the Director of US Finance for Cru. Since joining Cru, he has worked in various roles, providing innovative banking, investing, accounting, and risk management solutions. He also formerly served as the CFO for the Josh McDowell Ministry. Over the years, he’s had the opportunity to speak at several conferences and events sponsored by organizations such as Wells Fargo, Concur Technologies Inc., Bank of America, and the Christian Leadership Alliance.

 

Shortly after moving to Orlando, he met his wife, Jennifer. Jennifer and her family have a long history with Cru that began with her grandfather, who served as a Chaplain and was a frequent speaker at Spring Break events in the early 1970s. Kent and Jennifer have celebrated being married for 20 years and have two adult children. Both have followed in Kent’s footsteps by pursuing business degrees at the University of Central Florida.
