James Bloedel is the Chief Strategy Officer at Historic.

He began his career leading marketing inside faith-based nonprofits. In 2020, he jumped into the agency world, landing at Historic. Over six years later and post-acquisition by a major industry player, he leads day-to-day operations as the firm’s chief strategy officer. He directs a best-in-class team of creatives and partners with brands like World Vision, Desiring God, and The Tebow Group to drive impact.

James Bloedel exemplifies Christ-centered excellence in leadership, pairing uncommon maturity with strategic clarity and humility. He has grown rapidly as a leader while guiding Historic through scale and acquisition, stewarding people, culture, and outcomes with integrity. James is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and a foster parent with his wife, Rachel.
