Be Bold When You Ask, Seek, and Knock
The Beatitudes have taught me to depend on God with a humble heart. Jesus now invites me into a life of bold, ongoing conversation with the Father. He doesn’t just allow me to come—He urges me to ask, to seek, to knock.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. “
Matthew 7:7 NIV
The Power of Prayer
Prayer isn’t passive—it’s active, persistent, relational. Jesus is saying, “Keep coming. Keep trusting. Your Father delights in giving good gifts.” And He doesn’t give grudgingly or sparingly—He gives like a perfect parent, full of love and wisdom, who knows exactly what I need and when I need it.
Salt and Light
Being salt and light means living in daily dependence—not just for strength to serve, but for intimacy with the One who sends me. It means I never outgrow my need for grace, direction, and daily bread.
What if Iapproached prayer with the joyful confidence of a beloved child, not the hesitation of a weary beggar? What if I lived each day with the quiet assurance that heaven’s door is always open? That’s the kind of relationship Jesus offers.
Let’s boldly ask, seek, and knock together.
