Can I Be Holy?
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:14-16 ESV
God calls me to be holy in everything I do. How daunting!
Everything I do is stained by sin. Yet I am to be blessed? This situation cannot be possible.
Holiness is only possible as I remain in the One who is holy. Apart from Him, I am like an unclean person whose righteous acts are filthy rags. But in Him, I am holy as He is holy.
Will you join me this week in making time to be with the Almighty God who loves us and makes us holy?
