Kat Armstrong and A Passion to Speak the Truth in Love

Kat Armstrong loves God’s Word and is passionate about the transforming power of Biblical truth in our daily lives! The Christian Leadership Alliance presents the 49th Annual Outcomes Conference on April 29 – May 1, 2025. Kat will grace the main stage for the Women’s Luncheon, sharing profound truths and inspiring women to become the leaders God created them to be.

Born to Lead

Kat was born in Houston, Texas, where the humidity ruins her Mexi-German curls. Kat holds a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and is pursuing a D.Min. in New Testament Context from Houston Theological Seminary.

She currently serves as the senior director of marketing and content development for Integrus Leadership. At the Outcomes Conference, we look forward to learning about her research at Integrus and how it brings clarity and direction to Christian women called to lead.

Kat is a powerful voice in today’s world, a sought-after Bible teacher, an innovative ministry leader, and the host of the Holy Curiosity podcast. (The podcast is featured on the CLATV Podcast Network!)

Follow the Storyline

Kat Armstong is the author of a series of studies called the Storyline Project. This series guides you through the storyline of Scripture, each following a person, place, or thing in the Bible. Maybe you are practiced in dissecting a passage and pulling stuff out of the text to apply to your life. But now, you may feel as though your faith is fragmented. The Storyline Bible studies help you put the pieces back together. You’ll discover cohesive, thematic storylines with literary elements and appreciate the Bible as its masterpiece.

Serving the Local Church

Kat and her husband, Aaron, have been married for twenty-two years. They live in Dallas, Texas, with their son, Caleb, and attend Christ Fellowship McKinney Church, where Aaron serves as the lead pastor.

Christ Fellowship McKenney Church helps people find and follow Christ. They know many are looking for help with core issues in their lives—questions about their identity, purpose, whether they can truly be loved, or whether they’ll ever really belong. Our lives are filled with loneliness, anxiety, and addiction. Jesus provides connection, peace, and freedom. Many people know about him, but life change begins when we choose to seek him and follow him.

At their church, they want others to be known and loved. They are a community of people who want to know him better and help others do the same, encouraging everyone to continually take their next steps toward life to the fullest in him.
