A Focused Leader
The busier I get, the more focus I need to complete my priorities. With that focus comes the exclusion of other things – which may be fine unless one of the “other things’ is God.
David is a real model for me in this. No doubt, he often was distracted by many priorities. Yet David said in Psalm 16:8,
I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
David learned to think about God all the time. And the result was peace despite the circumstances.
The questions I ask you to answer today honestly:
- Is the Lord right there beside you?
- Are you conscious of His presence in your life today?
