Weekend Words of Wisdom #7

BlogCLA.24.7Lead All The Time

When you are the leader, all you have to do is walk into a room and the eyes turn to you to start the meeting, approve the agenda, offer or assign the opening prayer, manage the progression of topics, review the action steps, and disband.

You may have delegated such responsibilities to others who are present and capable.

You may speak often or seldom.

You may be a level one or a level five leader in style and personality.

Whatever. The reality is that whatever your role or approach, leaders are leaders all the time. 24/7. Night and day. On Saturday and Sunday. On Monday when Sunday is a workday. On vacation…unfortunately.

You are always a leader. You are always leading.

What are you doing to keep this reality in perspective?
