Your Enthusiasm is a Gift You Give
Enthusiasm—intense and eager enjoyment—is obvious to detect. When I boldly display it, my words and actions are energized, and my heart bubbles with passion. It feels great! But am I passionate about the right things?
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for men.
Colossians 3:23, NIV
Paul suggests that my enthusiasm for God should influence everything I do. On my own, this is impossible. Yet, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I can work with eager enjoyment for the glory of God.
