Dr. Justin A. Irving and Dr. Courtney Veasey Bring Special Presentations!
Today, we want you to meet two exceptional leaders taking special main stages on Thursday, April 11, 2024: Dr. Justin A. Irving and Dr. Courtney Veasey!
Dr. Justin A. Irving
Dr. Irving will be the Keynote speaker for the Men’s Breakfast on Thursday, April 11, 2024. His years of research, study, and practical leadership experiences will inspire and challenge all who attend!
Currently, he serves as the Duke K. McCall Professor of Christian Leadership and chair of the Department of Leadership and Discipleship at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) in Louisville, Kentucky. The Seminary offers gospel-centered, theologically grounded training for ministry.
Dr. Irving also serves as one of the pastors at Sojourn Church Midtown in Louisville.
Before this, Dr. Irving served at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN, for twenty years in various roles (Professor of Ministry Leadership, Doctor of Ministry Director, Associate Dean, Interim Co-Vice President, and Dean). Dr. Irving’s previous positions also include serving as pastor of leadership development and outreach in the local church, worship leader, assistant youth minister, homeless shelter chaplain, and adjunct instructor of Bible at the University of Northwestern, St. Paul.
He is the author of Leadership in Christian Perspective: Biblical Foundations and Contemporary Practices for Servant Leaders and the Outcomes Conference 2024 Book of the Year, Healthy Leadership for Thriving Organizations: Creating Contexts Where People Flourish.

Dr. Courtny Veasey
Dr. Courtney Veasey uses her deep insights into God’s world and infectious love of life to spur women on. She will be the keynote speaker for the Women’s Luncheon on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
Dr. Veasey is the founder of Brunch Ministries, where she serves as an itinerant Bible teacher. She frequently speaks at conferences primarily targeted at women in leadership and teenage girls.
Dr. Veasey is a former faculty member and director of women’s academic programs at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She has also served in vocational ministry positions in South Carolina, California, and Florida. Courtney is a graduate of Florida Southern College (B.A., Communications), where she was a two-time All-American volleyball player; New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv, Biblical Languages; Ph.D., Biblical Interpretation, and Gateway Seminary with a ThM, New Testament.
No matter the location or people she finds herself with, she enjoys life, and all God has given her to experience therein. She enjoys being outdoors, hanging with family and friends, and cheering for her beloved Florida State and New Orleans Saints football teams.
