THE FORGE – The Power of Discipleship
The Outcomes Conference 2024 attendees will gather to screen the movie THE FORGE tonight. The conference theme is, therefore, a word that connects biblical truth to how God desires us to respond to it. While used throughout scripture, it appears in one of the most significant scriptures in God’s Word: The Great Commission.
Then, the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you to the very end of the age.”

THE FORGE
In the movie THE FORGE, we see the power of discipleship in the lives of Christ-followers who take seriously God’s disciple mandate in his Great Commission. We are present in the transformational power of discipleship in young IIsaiah’s life.
Isaiah Wright has some growing up to do. A year out of high school with no plans for his future, Isaiah is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. Through his mother’s prayers and biblical discipleship from his new mentor, Isaiah discovers that God’s purpose for his life is much more than he could hope for or imagine.
