I Belong! An Alliance for Leaders Like You By W. Scott Brown

The Outcomes Conference 2022

“I Belong!”

The Outcomes Conference 2022, April 26-28, in Louisville, Kentucky was themed “I Belong!” This dynamic event brought together like-minded leaders, who are on a journey of becoming lifelong friends through a shared passion for God’s kingdom work in our world today.

I love the way Christian Leadership Alliance president and CEO Tami Heim captured the spirit of the event when she encouraged attendees: “Be ready to invest your best in others. The knowledge, skills and experiences you have to share were given to you to do good works, and they are for the benefit of all. Each one of you has much to give and receive. Don’t miss out on your part of this great exchange.”

That exchange took place in significant ways throughout The Outcomes Conference 2022. The sharing of the best that we have been given as leaders for the benefit of all is at the very heart of Christian Leadership Alliance. This is a place where leaders invest in leaders. For more than 45 years this Alliance has equipped Christian nonprofit professionals for greater kingdom impact.

The Christian Leadership Alliance community puts its years of experience in the “business” of ministry to work for its members, convening and training the leaders and teams of Christian nonprofits across all levels of experience. This Alliance is truly a community where you belong. If you’re not yet a member, I strongly encourage you to join the Alliance.

Partners Who Support

We are thankful for the organizations who came alongside the Alliance as partners who sponsor The Outcomes Conference. Their investment in Christian leaders allows transformation to take place in the lives of leaders and in the ministries they serve. We salute this year’s sponsors at each level of support:

America’s Christian Credit Union

Cornerstone Management, Douglas Shaw & Associates, FaithSearch Partners, Masterworks, Samaritan’s Purse, The Navigators and World Vision

Barnabas Foundation, Belay Solutions, Best Christian Workplaces Institute, Biblical Leadership, CapinCrouse, CRISTA Ministries, Dickerson Bakker & Associates, iDonate, InterVarsity Press, Joni & Friends, Kerux Group, Leadership Books, Ministry By Text, PHOS and The Salvation Army.

And we so value all of those who were exhibitors at this year’s Outcomes Conference, organizations committed to supporting the kingdom work being done by our conference attendees year-round.

Leaders Who Invest

We are so thankful for the more than 130 thought leaders who shared their experience, insight and wisdom as faculty members for The Outcomes Conference 2022. They invested in other leaders through our workshops, intensives, forums and roundtables. Their insights strengthened leaders through our nine key learning tracks: executive leadership, personal leadership, resource development, financial management, people management and care, communications and marketing, Internet and technology, legal and risk management and board governance. They brought years of frontline nonprofit experience, or insights from consulting to support frontline leaders, to bear on the cutting-edge insights they offer. They are the heart and soul of what it means to belong in this Alliance.

We are also thankful for the keynote presenters who shared their wisdom from our main stage: Tom Lin of InterVarsity, Rev. Dr. Nicole Martin of American Bible Society, Jacinta Tegman of CRISTA ministries, Newt Crenshaw of Young Life, Al Lopus of Best Christian Workplaces Institute and Steve and Jackie Green of Hobby Lobby/Museum of the Bible with Kristin Hammett of The Signatry. We appreciate thought leaders who shared in our forums such as Jon Lee of LERMA Agency, Dr. Mark L. Vincent and Kristin Evenson of Maestro-Level Leaders, and Nancy Reece of S3. And we deeply value the wisdom of special event speakers Beth Guckenberger of Back2Back Ministries, and Dr. Michael J. Mantel of Living Water International.

A Kingdom Mindset

Both the incredible board of directors and national advisory council of Christian Leadership Alliance are comprised of leaders seeking to build up those who are on the frontlines of Christian leadership today. This Alliance has a mission to equip and unite Christian leaders who are transforming the world for Christ.

This Alliance is indeed a place where you belong! We seek to equip our members with the leadership skills, resources, training and expertise necessary to achieve lasting impact in the world. Don’t miss out on this great exchange. Let’s do this together!
